Update details:

- Christmas Event has begun. New Trial and chalenges opened!
- New Side Quest from Sieg.
- Added New Battle Consumable Item: Freezing Potion: If its used in a battle, the next basic attack will freeze target for 2 turns
- Added New Equipments: Candy Cane, Christmas Decoration, Santa Outfit, Red Burlap.
- Adjusted some changes and fixing small bugs

Hi there, its me, Xer. The Developer of Lentera VN-RPG Game
Before proceeding, I apologize of my broken English. I am not asking my friend to rephrase my words, so all of you know deepdown inside of my heart
It's been a great year for 2023, I am glad that we can constantly update the game even with some delayed updates.
I am really grateful that we have been trough all of this with joy and sorrow, and all of your supports
For that, i really thankful to all of you, and my friends who helped me develop the game
Lentera first build is actually from 2020, i was inspired by a game called 'Taven of Spear' by Caro back then
He and his game creation is the reason why i felt motivated to make this game,
But in 2021. I stopped this game project for a while. Because of being critized and insulted the bad quality of my arts. (Just take a look of older builds)
I am really down at that time, upset, and keep telling myself that im nothing.
I quitted, and my former friends who work for the first build of this game quit as well. leaving me all alone.
I tried to improve my art, by learning self-taught from internet, and savings to buy a better laptop/device and drawing tablet.
Years after. I tried to gain trust from my friends again this time it will work, but i realized that i cannot get them back again.
So I decided to former a new team again, and I am glad the effort I did for this game achieve me something in this year.
Which is consistency. And I am really proud of it.
But as the time goes, The game feature is going to be more complex and complex. And I, as a programmer, have to realize that Ren'py is not the answer to make an RPG Game.
It has so many limitations, and so many potentially bug appears. Actually We can fix this, but to do that, it must be started from the ground again, which if doing that means creating a new game with more structured programming base.
Imaginations have no limit, but at the same time you must be using proper engine to achieve what you wanted. And I believe that I can do that, but I am afraid it will only be abandoned (Because im sole programer and artist), moreover of my own irl stuffs
So by February 2024, it will be the last build of Lentera, which a complete chapter 4. And We will review again if the RPG elements should be keep or not for the future updates.
During the hiatus of Lentera game, I will be working on a new Game called Accea as Artist (not programmer).
By being the sole Artist will give me more freetime to work and also managing possibilities of my irl business in future. While also reviewing the continuation of Lentera.
About the new game, Accea is 100% RPG Game Turn-based, you play as Protagonist Tiger-shark 'Rave'. And we are using Godot Engine to build the game, and is currently progressing.
At the end, Lentera is not abandoned, but the game is being reviewed, wether if we want to continue the game as VN-RPG or remake it as Linear VN
And I love to everyone who keep supporting us, Patrons or non-Patrons

Hey man all the power to you. Your old art was good and you genuinely improved to be one of the hottest art styles ive seen in a porn rpg. I welcome all changes and decisions that improve yall's workflow and cant wait to see the new game. Thanks for the treat!!

what do I do after I used the code? nothing really happened in my game.
and on the old art thing, I think I found this forever ago when the art was like how you had shown it in those images, and I personally thought it looked great. it wasn't on the level of like a triple A company, but it was still better than most stuff you see in VN's that aren't being drawn by some other already really established artist, all that to say I don't really know why you think those were bad. for starters any art from the past to now is just a step of your journey having fun or being an artist and expressing yourself. even if it's not professional looking, it's still great if you enjoyed creating it. (and great cause it's actually good, I don't know why people would insult it.) I'm glad you've grown as both an artist and person since you now feel better about your art enough to become an artist for a whole new game though! your doing awesome and I hope you have fun doing what you love, be that this or making sprites/commissions or whatever you wanna do. really late happy new years as well!

I always support you. I hope you don't get too stressed by criticism, not feedback , and that you do what you want to do.
Please don't give up on doing something you genuinely enjoy doing,the only thing you need to do is to practice and improve your skills and enjoy you're hard earn effort
Criticism is complicated to handle but please do focus more on the good parts that actually has purpose of helping you and your team to improve the game,and just ignore the bad parts where its not even criticizing and its just full on hate,just ignore those they're not worth your attention.
